Reviews
It's a small shop that only seats about 6 or 7 people at the counter. The staff are also very kind. It was a delicious ramen with ginger.
It was sweetfish ramen, but there was only ginger ramen.
But it was ginger and delicious.
Ayu ○ (Maru) Gotramen ➕ Ayu grilled rice ball
I happened to be passing by this restaurant and was drawn to the word ``Ayu'' (sweetfish), so I went in and it was delicious.
A small ramen shop with 7 seats at the counter that serves an unusual soup called sweetfish soup stock.
Southern music is playing in the BGM and it's stylish.
The ramen has a whole fragrant grilled sweetfish on top, a salty soup with a delicious sweetfish soup stock, and thin noodles, giving it the freshest feeling I've ever seen.
Flavored egg topping
The ayu is carefully deboned, so you can eat it whole, starting with the head.
The sweetfish grilled rice ball in front of me caught my eye and I added it.
The ayu was grilled so it was piping hot and had a delicious aroma.
If you eat half of the grilled rice balls as is and add the other half to the soup, it's definitely delicious👍
Even though it's ayu ramen, it's not served at lunch, so the only thing that tastes like ayu is the rice.
The ginger ramen is a little punchy and nothing special.
The rice is delicious
Everything else is normal
"Ramen with ginger soba and chicken broth"
This Saturday I went to Futakotamagawa for a work-related event.
After finishing my plans at 1pm, I headed to a sweetfish ramen restaurant that had been highly recommended by my friends. The store was located in an old-fashioned shopping street that had escaped redevelopment. It's a strangely calming area for me, who doesn't like the Parisian atmosphere around stations.
When I arrived at the restaurant, I remembered that sweetfish ramen is only available at night during this time of year! Acha~ Butma, I entered the store.
“Green onion ginger soba @1,000 yen”
I somehow ad-libbed and increased the amount of green onions, which seemed to go well with ginger. According to the shop's instructions, they use Kochi Prefecture's Kogane Kokuzo brand ginger, the second stock of ayu ramen soup, and cinnamon, clove, kuko, and lotus seeds. It looks like it's good for the body.
Also, you can get Ayu Hime Gohan (white rice cooked with sweetfish bones) as a service, so don't forget to order that as well. By the way, you can pay while you wait for your ramen.
After a while, ramen was served. The cloudy white soup gives off a strong ginger scent. And there are more green onions than I expected! When you drink the soup, you can taste not only the ginger and sweetfish, but also the flavor of animal ingredients (chicken stock). Not only does it have a healthy image in advance, but it's also a healthy ramen soup.
The noodles are thin and curly and cooked to a soft texture. A chewy texture. Ingredients are green onion, bean sprouts, 2 pieces of seaweed, 1 piece of roasted pork belly, and a hoochie bar. Hmm, was there a hooch bar in it? I couldn't check it because it was hidden by the increased amount of green onions...
Ayu Hime rice has a slight aroma of sweetfish. I made it into a small size, so it's about 2 bites. However, green onion ginger soba is not good at boosting rice. I had the family style ramen wrapped in fried chicken and seaweed.
Overall, it was delicious and warmed my body, probably due to the added amount of green onions. However, this makes me even more interested in Ayu Ramen. I guess I'll wait for spring to arrive.
This is ramen with a gentle taste. I sometimes use it as a finishing touch after drinking, but it makes me want to drink all the soup.
I have never seen ramen made with sweetfish anywhere else.
Personally, I think the roasted pork belly is also fragrant and delicious.
The salt ramen with dashi and sweetfish flavor was delicious.
You can eat the whole sweetfish, starting from the head, and it is delicious without the smell of river fish. …
Until winter season they only serve the ‘Shouga (ginger) soba’ , not Ayu ramen.
Just normal taste for Shouga Ramen. It’s a bit pricy for this (900yen) Not very recommended.
